We went to our first League Meet feeling excited and ready to compete. It was especially meaningful since it took place at our school, Harmony School of Excellence - Laredo. The competition challenged us in new ways and pushed us to grow. We finished 11th overall, and while there’s always room to improve, we gained valuable experience and learned lessons that will make us stronger at the next meet. We’re motivated and ready to apply what we learned moving forward.
At our second League Meet, we showed clear improvements with our intake system. We finished with a 2–3 record again, but this time we moved up to 10th place, which was a great step forward for our team. We were proud to see our hard work paying off. We also identified areas to improve, particularly being more efficient with scoring instead of spending too much time intaking. With that in mind, we immediately got back to practicing and refining our strategy for the next competition.
At our final League Meet and Tournament, we faced a challenging start, but we stayed focused and determined. We began the League Meet ranked 20th, but through teamwork and perseverance, we climbed all the way up to 7th place by the end of the tournament. On top of that, we earned the 3rd Place Inspire Award and secured a spot at Regionals. It was a powerful reminder that growth, resilience, and belief in our team can completely change the outcome.
We gave Regionals everything we had this year. We showcased our journey in FTC with a collage highlighting all of our years of growth and dedication. In the qualification matches, we went on an incredible 5–0 undefeated streak. Although we fell short of reaching the finals in playoffs, our hard work and consistency were recognized when we were awarded 1st Place Inspire Award. We were beyond excited and proud of how far we’ve come — and now, we’re preparing to compete at Worlds!
